* Although in this scene, Reynolds' character, Kathy Seldon, is supposedly dubbing the voice of Lina Lamont (played by Jean Hagen) for the film within the film, Hagen actually dubbed herself, speaking the lines both in Lina's squeaky character voice and in "Kathy's" clear, sweet voice (which supposedly belonged to Reynolds, but in actuality, didn't).
