Capra's Films with Jimmy Stewart:

Starring Jimmy and Jean Arthur as well as Lionel Barrymore and Edward Arnold, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, both produced and directed by Capra, was nominated for seven Academy Awards in 1938. It won two: Best Picture and Best Director.

Capra was nominated for Best Director for this film in 1939, one of eleven nominations, including Best Picture, that the film received. This movie is one of my all-time favorites.
